چکیده

The success of most software companies depends largely on software product quality. High product quality is usually a result of advanced software development processes. Hence, improvement actions should be selected based on sound knowledge about the dependencies between software product quality attributes and software development processes. This article describes a method for developing product/process dependency models (PPDMs) for product-driven software process improvement. The basic idea of the PPDM approach is that there are dependencies between product quality attributes, which are examined according to I S 0 9126, and the software processes, which are assessed with the BOOTSTRAP methodology for example. The Goal-Question-Metric approach is used for product/process dependency hypothesis generation, analysis, and validation. We claim that after jnding and using these dependencies it is possible to focus improvement activities precisely and use resources more efficiently. The approach is currently being applied in three industrial applications in the ESPRITproject PROFES.

Static Dependency Pair Method in Rewriting Systems for Functional Programs with Product, Algebraic Data, and ML-Polymorphic Types

For simply-typed term rewriting systems (STRSs) and higher-order rewrite systems (HRSs) à la Nipkow, we proposed a method for proving termination, namely the static dependency pair method. The method combines the dependency pair method introduced for first-order rewrite systems with the notion of strong computability introduced for typed λ-calculi. This method analyzes a static recursive struct...

A dynamic risk analysis on new product development process

Abstract In the dynamic and competitive market, managers seek to find effective strategies for new products development. Since There has not been a thorough research in this field, this study is based on a review on the risks exist in the NPD process and an analysis of risks through FMEA approach to prioritize the existent risks and a modeling behavior of the NPD process and main risks using s...

Imprecise Functional Dependencies

IntroductIon Functional dependencies represent a fundamental concept in the design of a database since they are capable of capturing some semantics of the data strongly connected with the occurrence of redundancy in a database. The development of applications working on fuzzy and multimedia databases has required the extension of the functional dependency notion to these new types of data. Unfo...

Definition Extraction with LSTM Recurrent Neural Networks

Definition extraction is the task to identify definitional sentences automatically from unstructured text. The task can be used in the aspects of ontology generation, relation extraction and question answering. Previous methods use handcraft features generated from the dependency structure of a sentence. During this process, only part of the dependency structure is used to extract features, thu...
